In recent years, as the insurance industry continues to grow, the importance of insurance claims service and technology has become more and more prominent in the insurance market. As professionals in the industry, we need to pay attention to claims service and claims technology.
Of the two, which is more important?
On April 24, 2022, at 4:30 pm, Frad held a friendly debate on this topic. General Manager Xin Sijian, Deputy General Manager Bi Yanhui, Director of Research and Development Center Lydie, and special guest Chen Yao, Secretary General of Shenzhen Insurance Institute, attended the event. In addition, other employees of the division were invited to participate in this activity as a panel of public judges.
The debate consisted of five parts, namely, argumentative statements of both sides, rebutment stage, rebutment summary, free rebutment and rebuttal speech. The rhythm of the activity was orderly and tightly linked, and both sides had in-depth discussions on the nature of the industry, work content and work direction.
Unlike previous debates, this one drew inspiration from Twelve Citizens, with six debaters on each side of the debate. In the rebutment section, there were rounds of questions and answers in French, which was a special feature of this debate. In the free rebutment session, the two sides argued fiercely against each other, and the two overtime debates brought the debate to a climax.
In the end, the six debaters of the positive side won the debate with a slightly better overall score. Li Ruoxin and Yi Tong Yao won the title of the best debater of the competition with their clear arguments.
After the competition, the general manager of the company, Xin Sijian, commented on the debate, pointing out that both sides performed well in the debate and the competition was very exciting. The positive side, in the rebutment and free rebutment part, was good at seizing the omission point for attacking and debating; while the tone of the opposing side's argumentative statement was good. They cited many company's data and examples, but unfortunately, their rhythm was disturbed by the positive side in the rebutment part, in which they neglected the argument of their own points of view.
The theme of this passionate debate competition was "Which is more important, claims service or claims technology", aiming at strengthening everyone's understanding of both, cultivating their ability of logical thinking and language expression, enhancing the teamwork spirit within the company, and showing the extraordinary style of Frad employees.
